Sweets for my Sweets @ Dessert's Bar, Tropicana

Sweets for my sweets, Sugar for my honey! la la la la (I don't know the words :P) Been wanting to check out Dessert's Bar for ages since I pass by it every time I go to Bobo's place. Located at the lil corner shop at Casa Tropicana. From outside it looks really hip and trendy. I thought it was a drinking bar at first with the red interior and bar stool. But to my delight..its a Bar for desserts :D

I love that this place provides games for patrons to play with. They have the usual Jenga, Uno, cards, board games and etc. Big groups can opt to sit at the sofas (at the corner, so they can scream and laugh all they want :|)

While smaller groups or couples can get a lil bit more privacy in the groovy "love seats" sofas. It looks really comfy and plushy. Me and Bobo took the normal tables cause we wanted to play uno stacko while waiting for our desserts. Thank goodness none of the uno blocks went flying into our crepes. :D

The concept of Dessert's Bar is that everything is made from the freshest ingredients. All natural, no additional preservative, coloring, fortification, and artificial flavoring is necessary. Sounds like some really healthy desserts to me but is it yummy enough?

They have really interesting items on the menu, Tofu Margarita, Pannatini, Grapefully Champagne, Mixta Bowl, tapas and etc. Since Bobo and I wasn't feeling so adventures on that day, we ordered the Strawberry Crepe and home-brewed ice-cream.

Strawberry Crepe. Thin Italian pancakes with generous amount of fresh strawberries & drench in strawberry sauce .

I really like it. The sauce is sweet and tangy, taste like real strawberries..not the artificial sweet strawberry taste kinda nonsense. Love the presentation. My only complain is that the crepe portion is too little. (It is really really thin)

Home-brewed/homemade ice-cream in Macha Azuki and Belgian Chocolate. Weird combo rite? But what to do, I wanted the Belgian Chocolate and Bobo wanted Macha Azuki. So anyways..I like the tiny lil frozen raspberry on top. So adorable. Both taste pretty good, very creamy and very flavorful. It shows that you do not need all the artificial flavoring to make something taste good. :)

Overall, I love the concept and I love the interior of the place. A great place to chill and chit chat with friends or family. It is pretty pricey (but fresh and good quality ingredients doesn't come cheap). I wish there were more things on the menu. Perhaps some sinful desserts like cakes, cupcakes, cookies and etc. Cause when I think of desserts, its usually the sinful bad ones.
