That day when I was having dinner with my gang, my good friend Sky_dancer crowned me as the "Carb Queen" . hehe. I am seriously addicted to Carbs. There is no such thing as good carb or bad carb in my dictionary. Everything to me is BLOODY GOOD CARBS!
That is why, Im in love with pasta. Pasta is like instant noodle to me. When I have nothing to eat, I make pasta. Pasta goes with anything. Soup, fried, baked, sauce, no sauce,meat,vegetarian, anything.
Jk and I went to check out Ikea a few weeks back. So after a great "work out" (sadly, walking around shopping malls during the weekends in my only form of exercise) we drop by Fasta Pasta for "refueling".
Fasta Pasta is an Australian chain restaurant. All pasta are made fresh daily. Portions in Fasta Pasta is pretty huge, so if you are a light eater, order the "asian" size serving. :D
The bread is on the house. I love sprinkling tons and tons of cheese on it. Yum yum.
Jk had the Pink Guava (RM5.90) Pretty good. No watery like the some outlets. But I don't think its fresh.. Surely some pre packed ones. I had a cup of hot green tea. ( RM3.90)
JK ordered Seafood Olio. (RM19.90) Its spaghetti (kinda thick) with garlic, dry chili flakes and lots of olive oil. Lots of calamari, some baby clams and I remember seeing one or two prawns. Very light and great for those who is bored of the typical tomato paste sauce. ( I AM!)
This is my all time favorite from Fasta Pasta. Ravioli di Ricotta Tre Colori (RM23.90) Its ravioli with spinach and ricotta cheese tossed with cream and basil, finished with baby spinach and a dash of napoli sauce. I call it lil pillows of heaven. :D
Fasta Pasta not only serves pasta. The pizza is good and they have other main dishes like steak and chicken too. I love Fasta Pasta for the service, fresh pasta and also the ambiance.

Wow....the ravioli look delicious... i never dine in fasta pasta before, may b the brand did't create any "feel" to me. After after your introduction, i will give then a try...hehe. Thx for sharing
I love the ravioli too. So sad, they went and took out one of the other varieties. Usually we always order ravioli whenever we eat here.
I was over at Fasta Pasta over the weekend. Ordered the Spaghetti Marinara as well as the Lasagne.
It was so-so lah.
The Marinara was fab but the Lasagne was a little hard... like tak cukup masak liddat.
