Heavenly Bakerzin revisited

I really wanted to try Bakerzin's main course badly, if the dessert can taste so heavenly good, Im sure they can't do anything wrong with the main course.

Jk and I were in One Utama last last saturday. We went to check out the Scary movie 4. Gosh.. the funny thing was that towards the ending (probably 2 mins left before the credits) the film burned!! Some audience tot that's part of the show and left. :| JK, I and this gang of friends lead by this huge Indian boy with tattoo went to the counter and bising. Luckily we manage to get our full refund back. Hehe.. FREE MOVIE!! :)

So anyways, back to Bakerzin.. The Bakerzin in One Utama feels really different from the Bangsar one, interior wise. The Bangsar outlet is very open n bright. This outlet is very hidden, exclusive, and romantic. Even my pics turn out pretty dramatic because of the lightings.

I had the Passion Fruit Soda, Pretty good... especially when you had too many sweet desserts. (RM7.90)

The delicious Veal Escalope Pesto Linguini. I love this dish. The veal is very tender and juicy. The pesto sauce is fantastic. The portion is pretty huge but I gobbled up everything. :) (RM21.00)

Jk had the Lamb Curry with rice. He said he had better ones ( mamak's) But I find it pretty good. Very tender and the meat comes off the bone in flakes. (RM17.00)

For dessert, JK picked Forest Noir. Basically its Black Forrest Cake. I was surprise when he picked that, its like the tackiest and the most predictable cake ever. But amazingly it taste really good. Not tacky at all!! Lots of rich dark chocolate. (RM10.90)

Im saving the best for last.....this is the "STAR" of the nite. Cookies & Cream Cheese Cake. It doesn't taste very cheesy, it reminded me of something chocolatey I had but I cant remember wat...sheesss... but this cake.. its melts in your mouth. Very very very good! its Magnifico!! A must try! (RM8.90)

At the moment, Bakerzin is one of my top favorite restaurant. The price is not so bad either. Cheaper than Delicious by Ms Reed. Will definitely come back for more.. Next time I wanna try some macaroons!

Totally agreed wt you, honey star! I loves their cakes but havent try their a-la-carte menu yet! For those wanted a nice cake and a cuppa of tea/coffee, hop in during tea time, a cake wt hot beverages cost only RM 13. But too bad they didn't promote thier tea-time special. I found out only after i got my bill.
