The Coast , Southwest Grill

Gosh, this post suppose to go online ages ago... but I had so much to do.. Sigh... Anyways..better late than never :D

We went to The Coast in Hartamas Shopping Centre for Father's Day lunch. The outlet is pretty small and it reminds me abit of chills. Even the food is very chills and TGIF. The lightings in the outlet is BAD BAD BAD. They only have spotlights at the corners and since we were sitting in the middle.. its total darkness. (and its afternoon, cannot imagine how the place is at night) My aunt had to use to my sis's hp's flash light to read her menu...imagine that......

Caesar Salad

I had the Tempura Chicken.

Sis had the burger. Seems like this was the only good dish..everyone's was either so so or bad.

Avin's Fajitas. Over cooked.

Mom had the value meal, Fish Sandwich + soft drink for RM10.00

Its kinda tragic, since its Father's day... my dad's dish(auntie had the same too), BBQ Chicken Whole Leg was the last to arrive..we had to chase them a few times. The chicken leg is tiny...its mini. Not only tat, its burned!!! Sheessshhh......

The free Brownie Sundae (with purchase of not less than RM15 in a single receipt)

My first and the last time @ The Coast.

Oh dear! The food doesn't look very inspiring either. I guess they are like Flaming J's - trying to be like Chillies and TGIF with a cheaper meal but somehow they don't make the cut.

i walked past it a couple of times and thought that they've got the cheesiest looking outlet. It looks like they were trying to pull of a cool tex-mex kinda look but the whole thing just fell flat on its face. Looks like a western food joint in 3rd world countries.

boo_licious, yes yes.i rather pay slightly more (The Coast is not that cheap) and have a better meal. They use to occupied a lot in Alamanda, Putrajaya.. i guess business not so good over there too. So they shifted over.

chi chi get the yeyo, haha..they got a whole buncha mixed up deco. Doesnt go at all....
