I had my first bite of Bakerzin's dessert in Singapore 2 years back. I dunno if its the ambiance (beautiful building, calming water at the Esplanade) , the company of good friends I was with or the sinfully decadent delicious desserts, but one thing for sure... One bite and I was hooked!
Bakerzin uses the finest ingredients only, premium quality Valrhona chocolate, vanilla beans from Madagascar, imported flour and fresh fruits.
Last Saturday, Avin bought a few cakes for tea time. I was already excited when I saw the Bakerzin box. I carefully and slowly open the box as tho I was opening a Tiffany & Co box. :P When I saw the goodies inside, I almost drool! hehe.
Coeur Noir - Layers of dark chocolate mousse and sacher sponge, with brandy cherries and hazelnut dacquoise at the base. (RM7.90)
Chocolate Amer - Flourless chocolate sponge layered with bitter chocolate mousse. (RM8.90)
Sumatra - A combination of dark chocolate & white chocolate with sumatra coffee mousse. (RM7.90)
Jivara - Milk chocolate mousse with a praline crunch base, topped with raspberry sauce and fresh strawberries. (RM7.90)
I love Jivara the best, very light and the crunchy base adds an interesting texture to the cake.

Hee hee! Great selection of cakes. My fave is the Couer Noir as those cherries are yummy. Try their Mango Mousse too, nice and light.
