Had a nice dinner and movie date wif JK last Saturday. We went to OU for a nice fun BBQ and saw Ice Age 2 (Honestly, I like Ice Age 1 better....Diego in IA2 is like some silly ding dong cat, with his lousy one liners. But thank gosh no more babies this time :D)
Decided to try out Bar B Q plaza after reading a fellow blogger's review. You cant missed the place, a huge green dinosaur greets you at the entrance. The place seems spacious and the interior is pretty nice. Not tacky at all! :) Ventilation is pretty good too. Apparently there are more than 50 Bar B Q outlets. (But only one in M'sia) Its a Thailand comp btw.
We order 1 supreme mixed set (for 2 person) The set comes with 2 rice, which you can upgrade to garlic rice for RM1.50. I had a coke (yea.. not very adventures) and jk had a nice lychee squash
There are pork, beef, prawns, sotong, fish cake, veggie, udon noddle and chicken. :)
Jk puts the pork lard on the grill ( to grease em) The pork lard did smell funky at first..but after awhile the funky smell went away. ( Its a very "piggie" kinda smell)
Sizzle sizzle. Food on the grill. Oh.. see the side of the grill, tats for vege and soup.
More FOOD!! I luv the bacon and the pepperoni. Recommended to add in the Udon last, thats when the soup is really sweet!
This is the "SPECIAL" BBQ sauce. They import it to M'sia weekly. Jk loves the sauce... i like it more if its were spicier. To make the sauce more yummy, there are things like chilli, garlic and lime to add. I add in lots of garlic! YUMMY!
We were kinda full, but we gatal and order the calamari and a watermelon squash...the calamari was disappointing. It was too big and very hard. Too much flour too. The plum sauce didn't really go with the Calamari. :( The Watermelon Squash was good. It feels almost like eating the watermelon fruit!
The meal came up to RM52.20. (plus tax) I tot it was a pretty fun experience. Kinda remind me abit like the Korean BBQ. Oh oh! Jk n I had sore fingers from holding the chopstick for too long. hehe.
The waiters were very attentive and helpful. ( Jk wonder why there was no waitresses. Nakal!) The boss was very friendly. Overall service GOOD!

We went there last time too..Love the beef slices and fun of cooking ur own food..We had 30 percent discount and free sagos as dessert as it's newly opened..
I luv the bacon n pepperoni! The juice squash is pretty good too!
